Peanut Butter, Fig & Honey Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 sourdough slices
  • 2 tbsp Salted Caramel - Dope Nutz
  • 2 figs, sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Walnuts (optional)

Crispy toast topped with creamy peanut butter, fresh figs and a honey drizzle.
Best moment: Weekend brunch or elegant snack

 

Method:

  1. Toast the bread:
    Lightly toast the sourdough slices to your preferred level of crispness — golden on the outside, soft in the middle works best.

  2. Spread the peanut butter:
    While the toast is still warm, spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter over each slice. Let it melt in slightly for added richness.

  3. Add the figs:
    Arrange the sliced figs neatly on top of the peanut butter. Slightly overlapping them creates a lovely presentation.

  4. Drizzle with honey:
    Drizzle a spoonful of honey evenly over the figs. Use good-quality runny honey for the best result.

  5. Optional: Add walnuts:
    Sprinkle with chopped walnuts for a bit of crunch and an earthy finish. You can also toast the walnuts lightly beforehand to enhance the flavour.
